Chris Nanco


Christopher Lenroy Nanco is a Canadian soccer player who plays for Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League.

Club career

Youth and college

Nanco played four years of college soccer at Syracuse University between 2013 and 2016, where he scored 21 goals and tallied 7 assists in 84 appearances.

Sigma

In the summer while attending Syracuse University, Nanco played for Sigma FC in League1 Ontario.

Bethlehem Steel

On January 17, 2017, Nanco was selected 55th overall in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft by Philadelphia Union. He signed with the Union's United Soccer League side Bethlehem Steel on March 9, 2017.
Nanco was released by Bethlehem Steel at the end of the 2018 season.

Forge FC

Nanco was among the first two players signed to the newly established Hamilton Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League on November 29, 2018. In the 2019 Canadian Premier League season, Nanco helped Forge finish in second place overall, which qualified them for the finals. There, they faced Cavalry FC, and Nanco got an assist in the only goal of the game during the first leg in Hamilton.

International career

Nanco represented Canada at under-17 and under-20 levels.
