Christiana Middle School


Christiana Middle School is a school in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee. It is located in the suburb of Christiana, to the south of the city. As of spring 2016, it has 54 teachers and 882 students in grades 6–8.
The school has 54 teachers that teach English, Language Arts, Math, Reading, Science, History, and Specialty areas including PE, STEM, Art, Health and Wellness, Teen Living, Math and Reading Lab, Keyboarding, and Study Hall. The students have 8 periods of class a day Monday through Friday from 8:05 to 3:05. The school also has athletics that include Archery, Baseball, Boys' Basketball, Girls' Basketball, Football Cheerleading, Basketball Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Boys' Soccer, Girls' Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track and Field, Volleyball. Clubs are also a part of Christiana Middle School. There are 8 clubs including Beta Club, Chess Club, Christiana Middle School Technology, Drama, Recycling, Yearbook, First Priority, and Student Council.
The 8th graders will move on to go to high school at Riverdale High School and 6th grade student come from Christiana Elementary School and Barfield Elementary School.
Christiana Middle School operates within the Rutherford County School District.
