Academics

Clackamas Middle College is a four-year high school college transition program enrolling 300 students in grades 9-12. It is accredited by AdvancED. CMC is designed to give students the opportunity to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously with the goal of earning a high school diploma, a transfer degree, or certificate of completion. All graduates leave with college transcripts, college credits and college transfer degrees or college certificates.
In 2008, 21% of the school's seniors received their high school diploma as they remained enrolled to pursue a college degree or certificate. Of 121 students, 26 graduated with a high school diploma and college degree/certificate, 22 dropped out, and 73 were still in high school the following year.
The Thomas B. Fordham Institute describes the school as a "public private school", meaning it is a public school that serves only white people, with 1.81% of students being low-income, and 84% of students being white.
