Clare Egan


Clare Egan is a U.S. biathlete. She has represented the United States in World Cup Biathlon from 2015 through the 2018-2019 season, and at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. Clare was elected in 2018 to chair the International Biathlon Union Athletes’ Committee until 2022.

Life

Egan is originally from Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She was a stand-out runner and skier at Cape Elizabeth High School, from which she graduated in 2006.
Egan attended Wellesley College and received a master's degree from the University of New Hampshire; she speaks six languages.
