Clement Booth


Clement Booth was an English cricketer played first-class cricket between 1862 and 1886. Booth was a right-handed batsman.
Booth was educated at Rugby School and Trinity College, Cambridge. He played first-class cricket for Cambridge University from 1862 to 1865. His debut first-class match was against the Marylebone Cricket Club, a team he would later play for between 1871-1886. Booth also went on to play for Hampshire, and captained them from 1875 to 1878. His final first-class match was for the Marylebone Cricket Club against Oxford University in 1886.
Booth was a farmer at Hundleby Grange, Spilsby, Lincolnshire where he died in 1926 at the age of 84.
