Clyde Wijnhard


Clyde Wijnhard is a former Dutch professional football player.
In a career spanning over ten years, Wijnhard played for Ajax Amsterdam, Groningen, Leeds United, Huddersfield Town, Preston North End, Oldham Athletic, RKC Waalwijk, Willem II, S.C. Beira-Mar, Macclesfield Town, Darlington and Brentford.
Wijnhard appeared for Bramham FC of the Harrogate and District Association Football League, who he joined in the summer of 2006. As of the 2009/2010 season Wijnhard played for Shadwell United in the Yorkshire Old Boys League. He has also appeared again for Leeds United albeit in Masters Football alongside Darren Huckerby.
On 6 September 2009, Wijnhard guest-starred for the Aston Villa Old Stars in a charity match against Solihull Consultants & GP's at Solihull Moors' ground. He scored in the 8–1 victory.
Clyde ran an eco-friendly lighting company until 2013.
He also helps young Dutch footballers gain trials at English clubs.
