Connected car services

Connected car services allow for the gathering of data and in some cases sending remote commands to a vehicle. These services can be referred to differently by manufactures such as Blue Link from Hyundai or mbrace from Mercedes. Despite every manufacturer having a different name for their connected service, they all provide similar functionality.
Newer vehicles are offering standard remote convenience features some being available even at the lower end models.
Manufacturers offer these services generally as a subscription model that you pay for annually. This technology primarily uses 3G/4G data connections to allow for the vehicle to communicate with mobile devices, smart assistants, or websites from anywhere in the world.
