Costin Georgian metro station
Costin Georgian is a metro station in Bucharest named after an engineer who died while the metro was being constructed. It was formerly named Muncii, but as there was another station named Muncii on M1 it suffered a name change.
The station was opened on 28 December 1981 as part of the second phase of Line 1 between Timpuri Noi and Republica.
