Cyclophora (moth)

Cyclophora is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. Many species are referred to as mochas in reference to their colouration, primarily in Europe.

Taxonomy

Traditionally, species included in this genus were either placed in Cyclophora and Anisodes. Research concluded that these species belong in the same genus. The type species of Anisodes was even found to have features that are used to define Cyclophora.
