Cynthia Lai
Cynthia Lai is a Chinese-Canadian politician, who was elected to the Toronto City Council in the 2018 municipal election. She represents Ward 23, which she has been a resident of. Lai immigrated from Hong Kong in 1972 and has lived in Toronto ever since.
Prior to her election, Lai worked as a realtor and was president of the Toronto Real Estate Board.
