Dan Flores (American football)


Dan Flores is a former professional football player. Flores is from East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Flores played four seasons at Stony Brook University as a tight end.

Early life

Flores is one of five children including older brother Brian who is the Defensive Signal Caller for the New England Patriots and his twin brother Luis. They would travel across Brooklyn to attend school at Poly Prep. Father Raul was a merchant marine who was away from home for long periods of time because of his job. His mother, Maria, stayed home to take care of the boy, including the youngest, Christopher, who has autism

Career

In 2000, Flores was a member of the Flint Flames in the Indoor Football League. Flores later signed with the New Jersey Gladiators in 2001 in the Arena Football League. During his season with the Gladiators he played full back and linebacker. Offensively, he rushed for 51 yards on 16 carries and scored 2 touchdowns. Defensively he made five tackles and one sack.
