Dani Daniels


Kira Lee Orsag, known professionally as Dani Daniels, is an American pornographic actress, stripper, and visual artist.

Early life

Daniels is from Orange County, California. She is of Czech, English, and German descent. She was raised by two mothers. She attended an art school for about two years, but dropped out.

Career

Daniels began stripping before her porn career to pay her rent. Her stage name was derived from the first name of an ex-boyfriend as an act of revenge against him. She entered the adult film industry in January 2011 and joined the agency OC Modelling. Her first scene was for Reality Kings. She was initially a lesbian-only performer, but later started performing with men. Her first four sex scenes with men were in the film Dani Daniels: Dare for Elegant Angel. Elegant Angel also produced an all-girl film titled Dani, which features Daniels in every scene. Dani won the 2013 AVN Award for Best All-Girl Release. Daniels has directed for Filly Films, Penthouse Studios, Brazzers, and Reality Kings.
Daniels was the Twistys Treat of the Month for July 2011, the Penthouse Pet of the Month for January 2012, and Elegant Angel's Girl of the Month for March 2014. That same month, Brazzers cast her in the lead role of a five-part series titled The Whore of Wall Street, an adult parody of The Wolf of Wall Street.
Daniels started out webcam modeling for Streamate. She is now on CamSoda.
Daniels performed for the 2014 film Dani Daniels Deeper, which won the AVN Award for Best Interracial Release and the XBIZ Award for Interracial Release of the Year in 2015. In 2015, she collaborated with Doc Johnson to create a line of sex toys, which won the 2016 AVN Fan Award for Most Amazing Sex Toy.
Daniels was placed on CNBC's list of "The Dirty Dozen: Porn's Most Popular Stars" in 2014 and 2015.
In July 2018, an image of Daniels, along with several other notable adult stars, was painted on the side of a bus that traveled around Kerala, India. The mural was part of a marketing campaign aimed to boost college tour rides.

Talk show and podcast

In late 2018 Daniels announced her new talk show Dinner With Dani on Amazon Prime Video. The show features fellow adult industry personalities along with other guests. Notable guests include Asa Akira, Alexis Texas, Christy Mack, Julia Ann, Lauren Phillips, Johnny Sins, Mia Malkova, Rich Vos, Coolio and Gilbert Gottfried. The show rapped up its first season in March of 2019.
In August of 2019 Daniels along with her husband Vic Cipolla began hosting The Two Onions a once weekly sex talk podcast.

Personal life

Daniels married television producer Victor Cipolla in 2017. She is also a blogger and painter. She creates her artwork under the name "Kira Lee". Her technique is pointillism. As of January 2016, she is attending flight school. She identifies as bisexual, and mainly considers herself a "girl/girl model".
Scam artists have been using Daniels' photos and impersonating social media accounts for years defraud her fans. One man filed a complaint in small claims court in 2018, claiming that Daniels had scammed him out of $1,785. Daniels filed a countersuit alleging that the complainant had wanted to force the case to mediation in order to interact with her. He later dropped the lawsuit.
