Dashami
Dashami is the Sanskrit word for "ten", and is the tenth day in the lunar fortnight of the Hindu calendar. Each month has two Dashami days, being the tenth day of the "bright" and of the "dark" fortnights respectively. Thus Dashami occurs on the tenth and the twenty-fifth day of each month. It is a very important day of the major festival of Hindus, Dashain. Some people fast while other have delicious food enjoying with their relatives who come from near and far areas to celebrate festivals with their beloved relatives.
