David Adams is an American video game designer best known for his work on Darksiders and .

Biography

In 1997, Adams founded Stone Jackal Studios in Gilbert, Arizona, and developed his first game, Crush! Deluxe, via publisher MegaMedia Corp. He left Stone Jackal Studios to co-found Realm Interactive to pursue the development of a new game based on the popular BBS door game Trade Wars. Named Trade Wars: Dark Millennium, Realm Interactive generated interest in the industry around the nostalgia of the old game. NCSoft initially decided to publish Trade Wars, but later decided that since the game had changed significantly it should be renamed as Exarch. NCSoft later purchased Realm Interactive and moved its team from Mesa, Arizona, to their offices in Austin, Texas.
In 2005, Adams left NCSoft to found Vigil Games with other former NCSoft employees, where they began work on . In March 2006, Vigil Games was acquired by THQ.
