David Bartlett (bishop)
David Daniel Bartlett was Bishop of St Asaph from 1950 until 1971.
Born on 5 November 1900, he was educated at St John's College, Cambridge and ordained in 1924. From 1923 until 1931 he was a Lecturer in Theology at St David's College, Lampeter and then Vicar of Pembroke Dock from 1931 to 1946. He was then Professor of Hebrew and Theology at St David's College Lampeter from 1946 to 1950. He died on 10 April 1977.
