David Ian Rabey
David Ian Rabey is a Professor of Theatre and Theatre Practice at Aberystwyth University. He is also the Artistic Director of Lurking Truth Theatre Company for which he has written several plays including:
Land of My Fathers, Lovefuries, The Battle of the Crows, Bite or Suck and The Back of Beyond.
Professor Rabey has staged several of the plays of Howard Barker and has also written several publications on his work. He has also published textbooks on post-war English drama and analysis of the work of David Rudkin, Jez Butterworth and Alistair McDowall, as well as the wider studies Theatre, Time and Temporality and English Drama Since 1940.
Whilst at Aberystwyth University he has staged several productions with students and lectures on Contemporary British and Irish Drama.Selected bibliography
