De Cocksdorp
De Cocksdorp is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Texel, and lies about 25 km north of Den Helder.
In 2001, the town of De Cocksdorp had 481 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.21 km2, and contained 195 residences. The statistical area "De Cocksdorp", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 550.
