Delta County Airport


Delta County Airport is a county-owned public-use airport located two nautical miles southwest of the central business district of Escanaba, a city in Delta County, Michigan, United States. It offers limited commercial service, which is subsidized by the Essential Air Service program.
It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a non-hub primary commercial service facility.

Facilities and aircraft

Delta County Airport covers an area of at an elevation of above mean sea level. It has two asphalt paved runways: 9/27 is 6,498 by 150 feet and 1/19 is 5,016 by 100 feet.
For the 12-month period ending December 31, 2018, the airport had 38,986 aircraft operations, an average of 107 per day: 78% general aviation, 19% air taxi, 3% scheduled commercial and less than 1% military. In July 2020, there were 33 aircraft based at this airport: 31 single-engine, 1 multi-engine and 1 ultra-light.
