Denis Wiehe
Denis Wiehe C.S.Sp. is the current Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Port Victoria, Seychelles, since his appointment on June 1, 2002. He succeeded Xavier-Marie Baronnet, who is now Bishop Emeritus of the diocese.
Wiehe was ordained a Catholic priest within the Holy Ghost Fathers on August 17, 1969. He was first appointed a coadjutor bishop of the Diocese of Port Victoria on April 24, 2001. On June 1, 2002, Wiehe was elevated to Bishop of the Port Victoria, succeeding Bishop Baronnet, who retired.
