Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007


Denmark was represented by DQ in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Drama Queen".

Before Eurovision

Denmark chose their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2007. For the first time, the final, held in Horsens on 20 February 2007, was preceded by two semi-finals.

Competing entries

Semi-final 1

The first semi-final was held on 26 January 2007, and were hosted by Camilla Ottesen and Adam Duvå Hall. The top 4 songs, chosen by telephone and SMS voting, qualified for the final.

Semi-final 2

The second semi-final was held on 2 February 2007, and were hosted by Camilla Ottesen and Adam Duvå Hall. The top 4 songs, chosen by telephone and SMS voting, qualified for the final.

P3 Wildcard Selection

After the semi-finals, the listeners of Danish radio stations P3 selected two songs from four of the non-qualifying entries in the semi-finals to progress to the final.

After the semi-finals, the listeners of Danish radio stations P4 selected two songs from four of the non-qualifying entries in the semi-finals to progress to the final.

Final

The final was held on 10 February 2007 at Forum Horsens in Horsens, hosted by Camilla Ottesen and Adam Duvå Hall. The winner was chosen by regional televoting, which was DQ with the song "Drama Queen".
