Departure (TV series)


Departure is a 2019 British-Canada suspense drama television series commissioned by Canadian broadcaster Global. NBCUniversal pre-bought the series with an intent to air on Universal TV in the United Kingdom and Germany and 13th Street in France and Spain, as well as on Universal TV in Africa and 13th Street in Poland.
Departure premiered on Universal TV on 10 July 2019. Global has since confirmed that the series will air on its network in the fourth quarter of 2020. On 14 July 2020, NBC's streaming service Peacock acquired the series in the United States, where it is set to debut on 17 September 2020.

Plot

The conspiracy series follows the mystery of a passenger plane that vanishes over the Atlantic Ocean.

Location filming took place throughout Ontario, including in the City of Cambridge, in 2018. In January 2019, filming took place in London.
