Dewaitha


Dewaitha is a village in Dildarnagar kamsar in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. The literacy rate of the village is second highest after Dildarnagar in Gazipur. The literacy rate of the village is 92.8%.

History

Dewaitha village came under the Daudpur province which was established in 1620AD and was name after Raja-e-Daudpur jagirdar Sarkar Diwan Daud Khan Zamindar bahadur taloka saverai. When this region came into the zamindari of Daud khan, a grandson of Narhar khan the founder of the Kamsar Pathans.Daud was an big zamindar during his time, and the region of daud was known as Daudpur which was named after him. Daud had only one son name as Zamindar Bahbal khan who established Dewaitha village in year 1637AD during the rule of Mughal emperor Shahjahan. Bahbal had only one son but he had five grandsons. The elder two grandson Name as Zamindar Khudabhakash khan and Zamindar Yadali khan lived in Dewaitha. The third son established Jaburna village and fourth Saraila village and fifth Baraura village. Khudabhakash khan had had six sons and established Cheheo ghar in Dewaitha village and Yadali khan had eight sons who established Athoghar in Dewaitha all the kamsar pathans living in Dewaitha are from Athoghar or Cheoghar. When Bahbal khan established this village he made a mosque in village to represent his religion Islam and Bahbal also made a very large mango farm spread over 160 acres of land in Dewaitha.

Nearest railway station is Dildarnagar junction railway station which is 7.1 km and darauli railway station 7.3 km far from the village. The village have three tributaries and the breath of karamnasa river is 265 foot in village which is good for taking water. The river front of the village in 4.6 km.
