Dharma Yuddham


Dharma Yuddam is a 1979 Tamil film directed by R. C. Sakthi, a close associate of Kamal Haasan. It stars Rajinikanth and Sridevi in the lead roles. The film was dubbed in Telugu with the same title. The film was a commercial hit in 1979.

Plot

Vijay's parents are killed by Robert. He is adopted and brought up by a rich man. After many years Vijay finds out that Robert has been stealing body parts, especially eyes. How Vijay takes revenge on him forms the crux of the story.

Cast

Reception

Arunkumar Sekhar of The New Indian Express criticised the film for propagating the myth that "Humans are affected mentally during full moon day and new moon day".
