Dholla Kalan


Dhola village divided into two parts one is called "Dhola khurd "and other is "Dhola Kalan. Dhola Kalan is a village in Tehsil Phalia, Mandi Bahauddin District, Punjab, Pakistan about 11 kilometres from the Tehsil Headquarters Phalia with a road running between the two. The words khurd and kalan were administrative terminology dating back to Mughal times, to differentiate two areas with the same name Khurd means " and kalan are taken from Persian..

Population

It has a population of more than 7,000, and many crops like wheat, rice, sugar, and various types of vegetables are farmed.
There are Government-run primary schools for each gender. There is also an elementary school for girls.There are no hospitals in Dhola Kalan but there are some individuals who have small dispensaries at their homes.
