Dr. Nathan Davis Awards
The Dr. Nathan Davis Awards are presented annually by the American Medical Association and awarded to elected and career public servants in national, state, and local governments for outstanding government service. These awards are named for the founder of the American Medical Association, Nathan Smith Davis.
The first Dr. Nathan Davis Awards were presented in 1989. Since then a number of prominent individuals have received a Dr. Nathan Davis Award for outstanding government service.
