Dr. Seuss's ABC


Dr. Seuss's ABC is a 1963 children's A to Z alphabetical picture book by Dr. Seuss. It was published as part of the Random House Beginner Books series. It contains several short poems about a variety of characters, and is designed to introduce basic alphabet book concepts to children.

History

On the Biography special on Dr. Seuss, a "rejected" page from the book was revealed saying, "Big X / Little x / X...x...X / Someday, kiddies, you will learn about sex."

Adaptations

This is the first Living Books adaptation version of Dr. Seuss's ABC, from Aunt Annie's alligator to the Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz the zebra-mammal.
