Drayton Green railway station


Drayton Green railway station is in the London Borough of Ealing in west London, and is in Travelcard Zone 4. It is on the Greenford Branch Line: north of where, close to that station, it joins the Great Western mainline, as part of a route of from.
The station and all trains serving it are operated by Great Western Railway. It first opened as Drayton Green Halt. It is named after a nearby park and open space called Drayton Green.
Since 2008 the only available ticketing is through contactless payment cards, such as those of most UK banks or the Oyster card, for journeys originating or ending at Drayton Green.

Service

The service from the station is two trains per hour towards Greenford and two trains per hour to West Ealing from Monday-Saturday. There is no Sunday service.
Previously, the services that called here ran direct to London Paddington before the bay platform at West Ealing station was opened.
