Dubai British Foundation


The Dubai British Foundation is an independent international school located in the Jumeirah Islands area of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Opened in 2014, the school is owned and managed by Taaleem, one of the largest education providers in the Middle East. The co-educational school is open to students aged from three to five years.

Curriculum

The school is a purpose-built Early Years British International School, offering an enriched Early Years Foundation Stage Programme of the National Curriculum of England. The National Curriculum for England is divided into Key Stages. The first and arguably the most important stage of learning is The Foundation Stage, as it provides a strong foundation for children education journey. The school offers foundation stages 1 and 2.
The school immersed in a language-rich environment with a special focus upon music to promote effective language acquisition, Their students make rapid progress and end Foundation Stage 2 extremely well prepared for the transition into Year 1. Dubai British Foundation is the feeder school of Taaleem Dubai British School Jumeirah Park.

Language Philosophy

At Dubai British Foundation their language of instruction is English, with exposure to Arabic. The school aim is to encourage children to enjoy and appreciate a variety of languages from an early age.

The Dubai British Foundation is the first Early Years School to be granted membership of British School Middle East, which is a quality assured network that enables schools to share best practice and keep updated with the latest educational developments.
