Dubai Pearl

Dubai Pearl was a 73-storey,, tall residential skyscraper under construction along Al Sufouh Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It would have consisted of four mixed-use towers connected together at the base and by a sky bridge at the top.
The construction has been on hold since 2009, with the project labeled "sad," "troubled," and "fallen."
The structural design was carried out by Dubai-based engineering firm e-Construct. Construction was started in 2009, and the project would have cost $4 billion. Had it been completed, Dubai Pearl would have accommodated 9,000 residents and its commercial sector would have employed 12,000 people.
