Eastside Lutheran College is located in Warrane, Tasmania. It is a co-educational Lutheran college, catering for Kindergarten to Grade 10. ELC has 46 teaching staff and 274 students. When St Peter's Lutheran school was relocated to Warrane, it expanded to become a primary and secondary school under the name "Eastside Lutheran College". Eastside Lutheran College is a family oriented school community, and regularly runs community-based events and festivals throughout the academic year.
History
Eastside Lutheran College was established in 1982 by St Peter's Lutheran Church, Hobart. The school is a part of its Christian outreach to the wider community. ELC was original located in the home next to the original Lutheran church inDavey Street. In 1985, when student enrolment numbers increased, ELC moved to its new property on the eastern shore of the Derwent River and has been recently known as Eastside Christian School Lindisfarne. By the end of 2002, the dchool moved towards a secondary curriculum. In November 2004, it was decided to change the name from Eastside Christian School to Eastside Lutheran College. Eastside Lutheran College is a college affiliated with the Lutheran Church of Australia. In late 2017 into early 2018, Data 3 investigated the aging and unreliable technology in use at ELC. Many computer log ins were taking, at times, up to half an hour of class time. In mid 2018, ELC replaced its fleet of computers, both for staff and students, allowing the learning space to be more productive.

Drama
Drama is a specialist subject from Years 5-10. Students participate in local eisteddfods and competitions.
Music
The college has recently established an instrumental tuition program, in which students can learn a variety of instruments in an individual and small group learning environment. The college also offers a band program, and many performance opportunities at school assemblies, eisteddfods, and community events. In 2015, the College also established its own choir program, with the junior choir performing in the local community and senior choir performing in the Clarence City Eisteddfod.
Sport
The college is active in local inter school athletics and swimming events in Tasmania. It has recently established its own futsal program, as well as a cheerleading program that regularly participates in local cheerleading competitions run by World Cup Cheer and Dance.
