Elisabeth Schellekens
Anna Elisabeth Schellekens Dammann is a Swedish philosopher and Chair Professor of Aesthetics at Uppsala University. Previously, she was Senior Lecturer at Durham University. Schellekens is known for her works on aesthetics and ethics.
Her research interests include normativity, Kant, Hume, the distinctions between fact and value, subjectivism and objectivism, realism and anti-realism. She has also worked on the cognitive value of art, neuroaesthetics and the relation between moral and aeshetic value.
Schellekens is co-editor of the British Journal of Aesthetics since 2007, and member of the Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism's editorial board since 2008.Current positions
