The Embassy of Norway in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission of the Kingdom of Norway to the United States. Norway established an embassy in the United States in 1906, a year after Norwegian independence from Sweden. It is presently located at 2900 K Street, Suite 500, Northwest, Washington, D.C. The Embassy in Washington, D.C. is Norway's largest, with a staff of approximately 50, including representatives from a number of Norwegian ministries.
The Ambassador is Kåre Aas.

Norwegian Consulates in the United States

The Embassy also operates general consulates in Houston, New York City, and San Francisco and consulates in Chicago, Detroit, and Los Angeles. In addition, there are 38 Norwegian honorary consulates in many locations.
