Emerson Véliz


Emerson Leopoldo Véliz Cartagena is a Salvadoran professional football player.

Club career

Véliz came through the Alianza youth ranks and reserve team, before joining Salvadoran Second Division side Platense in 2001.
He would make his premier league debut a year later, when he signed for Luis Ángel Firpo with whom he would stay for nine years except for one season at Chalatenango. He also played for Luis Ángel Firpo in the 2008–09 CONCACAF Champions League.
In 2010, he moved to Atlético Marte, before joining to FAS ahead of the 2011 Apertura season.
