Emmones Idees


Emmones Idees is the 13th studio album by popular Greek artist Katy Garbi.
It was released in October 15, 2003 by Sony Music Greece and received Platinum certification by IFPI, selling over 60,000 units. The first single "Na Pernas" and precursor to the album was released over one month prior to the release of the album, which itself was scheduled to be released early September and then delayed to October 1. It was finally released as Garbi's thirteenth studio album on October 15, 2003. It was available in two different versions: the standard 16-track version, and the other being marked a "Limited Edition" and including a bonus DVD of previous EP Mia Kardia's music videos along with her biography, discography and photos. There is a cover track "Ilios I Vrohi" which is based on "Youm Wara Youm", previously recorded and performed as a duet by Egyptian singer Samira Said and Algerian singer Cheb Mami. Containing many of her most successful songs, like "Na Pernas", "Antres", "Esena Mono" and "Ta Ripsokindyna".

The following singles were officially released to radio stations and made into Music Videos. The songs "Emmones Idees", "Stenahoriemai" and "Zilia", despite not having been released as singles, managed to gain radio airplay with the following singles.

Prior to the release date of the album, the first single of the album was officially released to Greek radio on September 3, 2003. Na Pernas; one of the several mid-tempo hasapiko ballads of the album exclusively premiered on Cosmoradio, making airplay every hour.
