Equipment of the Syrian Army
List of modern equipment of the Syrian Arab Army. The vast majority of Syrian military equipment was Soviet manufactured but the organization and military doctrine of the armed forces
followed a mix of French and Western influences as the Soviet Union closely guarded its operational principles and never shared them with client states. The accuracy of the data is difficult to assess due to the ongoing Syrian Civil War, as weapons and vehicles are acquired and lost during battles.
