Ernakulam State assembly constituency is one of the 140 state legislative assembly constituencies in Kerala state in southern India. It is also one of the 7 state legislative assembly constituencies included in the Ernakulam Lok Sabha constituency.
As of the 2019 assembly elections, the current MLA is T. J. Vinod of INC.

Due to the election of the sitting MLA Hibi Eden as the MP from Ernakulam, Ernakulam Niyamasabha Constituency went to by-polls on 21 October 2019. There were 1,55,306 registered voters in Ernakulam Constituency for this election. T. J. Vinod won the resulting by-election by 3750 votes.
