Ernest Hall (footballer)
Ernest Hall was a footballer who played in the Football League for Brighton & Hove Albion and Newcastle United. Hall was a pilot with the Royal Air Force in World War II who lost his life, aged 28, when his Wellington bomber was shot down in 1944.Source:
