Erwin Lawaty
Erwin Lawaty - was a pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Poland.Biography
His father was Catholic, and his mother was from an evangelical family, but in 1912 she was baptized as a Seventh-day Adventist and was a member of the Advent Christian Church. After Erwin had passed successful gymnasium classes, he was also baptized as a Seventh-day Adventist in Łódź in the year 1930. In the same year he began to attend a Seventh-day Adventist seminary in Bielsko-Biała, which he finished after 3 years. During his seminary schooling he began a relationship with Elfridę Czembor and married her on 5 October 1938 in Katowice.
In 1969 he emigrated for 3 years to the United States. 1972 he came to Germany where he was pastor in Göttingen and Altensteig.
He also has three sons: Ernest, Edward and Andrzej
