Eskbank railway station
Eskbank railway station is a station serving the Eskbank area of the town of Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland. It reopened on the Borders Railway between Edinburgh and Tweedbank, just beyond Galashiels. There is a half-hourly service to Tweedbank. It is approximately a mile from Dalkeith town centre. Car parking space is available for 248 cars and also cycle storage space.
The station sits approximately 12.5 km from Waverley and 43.5 km from Tweedbank, and lies close to the towns of Bonnyrigg and Dalkeith.
The original Eskbank and Dalkeith railway station was previously closed in 1969. The new construction work was undertaken by BAM Nuttall. The new station, further south than the original, opened on 6 September 2015.
