Euan Burton
Euan Michael Burton MBE is a Scottish judoka.
Biography
Born in Ascot, Berkshire and living in Edinburgh, Burton represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics in the Half-Middleweight Judo event. Burton was educated at Pencaitland Primary School, Ross High School and the University of Edinburgh. He was an Individual Bursar in 1998-99 at the University.Burton is currently concentrating his efforts as a development coach for JudoScotland after his disappointing result at London 2012
Burton was named Scotland's flagbearer for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. At the Games, he won Gold Medal in the 100 kg category. He has since announced his retirement and return to full-time coaching.
