Music video

The music video for "Everything Is Automatic" was directed by Bill Morrison and filmed in Burnaby in October, 1997. The video features several up-close, zoomed and defocussed shots of the band preparing and performing for a video shoot. These are intermixed with fast-action shots of various streets and computer-generated billboards with catchphrases like "Think of your future, prepare for the distaster" and "Everything is allright".
The video was nominated for "Best Video" at the 1998 Juno Awards.
