Fidia Fidia is a genus of leaf beetles in the subfamily Eumolpinae . It is known from North and Central America . There are 24 species recognised in Fidia .Fidia Motschulsky, 1860 has priority over this genus; an application to suppress Fidia Motschulsky, 1860 and conserve usage of Fidia Baly , 1863 and Lypesthes Baly, 1863 was submitted to the ICZN in 2006 , but was rejected by them in 2009 .
