The fiery-tailed awlbill is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is monotypic for its genus.
It is found in Brazil, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.
