Fox Sports (Colombian TV channel)

Fox Sports was a Colombian pay television channel specialised on broadcasting sports events. The localised feed was launched in 26 September 2016 becoming the third Fox Sports localised feed after Fox Sports Chile and Fox Sports Uruguay. The channel used the broadcast from Fox Telecolombia studios in Bogotá.

History

Fox Sports Colombia began broadcasting as a Fox Sports Latin America as its own feed on June 8, 2015, with the premiere of Fox Sports Radio Colombia, during the 2015 Copa América in Chile, replacing Fox Sports Radio originating in Argentina. This situation was similar to that applied to the Chilean Fox Sports feed to the launch of its localised feed. The first Fox Sports Radio Colombia programs were broadcast on Fox Sports 2.
Between 2015 and 2016, the localised feed increased the number of productions of local origin through disconnections with the main channel, such as Fox Gol Colombia and La Ultima Palabra, on July 12, 2015 and January 25, 2016, respectively.
On September 26, 2016, the localised feed became an independent channel and began broadcasting as Fox Sports Colombia along with the premiere of Central Fox Colombia.
On January 22, 2017, the double Sunday edition of Central Fox Colombia began to be broadcast. Two years later, on February 26, 2018, the evening edition of said informative space was launched, from Monday to Friday at 5:00 p.m.
From the first broadcasts, the Central Fox Colombia newscast began with the hours of Sundays at 10:00 pm but in January 2017 the hours of 10:00 pm moved from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Due to Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney, Fox Sports Colombia ceased broadcasts on December 30, 2019 and was replaced by Fox Sports Latin America's south feed.
