Francis Henry Wiltshire

Francis Henry Wiltshire was a British trade unionist and political activist.
Wiltshire worked as a schoolteacher for many years, serving for thirty years at London Fields School, and then for ten years at Princess May Road School. He also became a prominent activist in the National Union of Teachers. He retired in 1924, and became active in the Labour Party and the Fabian Society.
At the 1929 United Kingdom general election, Wiltshire stood in Hornsey, taking 17.0% of the vote and third place. His health then declined, and he died early in 1932.
