Frank Coles is a Chief Executive Officer of Wallem Group, a company which provides technology-driven maritime solutions. Before that, he was a CEO of Transas, a developer and supplier of software for navigation, fleet operation, training, and ship traffic control. He also served as one of the members of the Board of Directors for Transas Marine. The company was later acquired by Wärtsilä, a technology group.
He started his career at sea 12 years prior to being a maritime lawyer. He served as a lawyer for 5 years and then became the Operations Director for Pacific Basin Bulk Shipping in Hong Kong.
Coles also served as the President of Inmarsat Maritime and the Chief Executive Officer of Globe Wireless.
