Frank Forbes Adam
Sir Frank Forbes Adam, 1st Baronet was a British banker who made his fortune in British India. He was President of the Bank of Bombay.
He was educated at Loretto School.
He was appointed Companion of the Order of the Indian Empire in 1888, and in 1890. Appointed a deputy lieutenant of Lancashire on 26 April 1904, Forbes was created Baronet of Hankelow Court, Chester in 1917 and appointed Companion of the Order of the Bath in 1919.
He married Rose Frances, daughter of Charles Gordon Kemball, a judge of the High Court of Bombay. They had three sons and a daughter:
