undertook
collecting
expeditions
in
New Guinea
as well as
Australia
.
The
Taeniopterygidae
genus
Doddsia
is named for him.
Dodd's son
Alan
, and daughters
Elizabeth
and
Katharine
, continued the
entomological
tradition
.
