Frosé

Frosé, or frozen rosé, is a slushy drink that includes frozen rosé, sweet vermouth and pureed strawberries or watermelon. It can also include lemon juice, sugar syrup, and cranberry juice. Another variation uses Beefeater Pink Gin, Chambord Black Raspberry liqueur, Villa Real rosé wine and grapefruit juice.
One criticism of frosé is that freezing wine "destroys the structure of the drink by separating the chemical compounds that make wine's flavors and aromatics so complex and delicious." Frosé was developed by Justin Sievers at Bar Primi in New York in summer 2016.
