Gemini (protocol)


The Gemini protocol is a collaboratively designed communications protocol for distributing, searching, and retrieving documents in Internet Protocol networks. The design is inspired by the Gopher with the addition of Transport Layer Security and privacy. It is not intended to replace Gopher or HTTP, but to co-exist with them.
